About the Conference

Web on the Piste is a web technology conference with a focus on Rich Internet Technologies (RIA). It is aimed at key business decision makers, web developers & designers of all levels, and anyone who is interested in learning about building rich internet applications and how they are revolutionising the internet.

They say that the amount you learn is linked to the environment in which you are taught and Web on the Piste is tracking to have between 120-180 web technologists together in one of the most beautiful places on the planet for the ultimate learning experience.

We feel that conferences today are primarily based on a one vendor focus. At Web on the Piste we aim to bring you something different. We aim to deliver Microsoft and Adobe showcasing their latest Internet technologies like WPF, Silverlight, .Net, Coldfusion, Flex, Flash and also showcase emerging platforms such as mobile delivery. That way, you can learn about the benefits of both vendors and make the call on which way you want to go.

The conference will be in Queenstown New Zealand at the height of the ski season, and being surrounded by six fantastic ski areas, Queenstown offers a superb winter experience with a vibrant town centre and a wide range of fun activities for before and after the event.
